Partnership with the QMUL ADR Society: BCLP is our society’s competition partner for the Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner x Queen Mary Annual Commercial Negotiations Competition 2020/21.

The competition is a learning platform which allows participants to develop their negotiation skills, improve their commercial awareness, and engage with realistic commercial scenarios which shall prepare them for real practice. As our student society vision fully aligns with the firm’s, the organisers and BCLP put at the forefront of this opportunity the training and development of the competition participants. As a result, the competition includes a variety of workshops on different negotiation topics, the first one in the series being the workshop with BCLP on ‘Negotiations in the Legal Industry’.

The competition represents a unique opportunity to get to know BCLP and gain an insight into the firm’s culture, departments, initiatives and career opportunities by receiving feedback from the firm’s representatives throughout different competition rounds, attending the workshop, and exploring life at BCLP (prize offered to the winning team).
